Every once and a while when i load into a new area or have been moving for a while in an area my screen turns all yellow and pixilated is this my graphics card(NVIDIA GeForce 6800) or some other problem

It's probably your video card or your video driver. There's also a possibility of a corrputed Gw.dat file but that's unlikely. Uninstall your nVidia driver, and download the new version for your video card.also check for ay dust clogging your fans inside your computer. If you have a way if checking your video card temperature, also check for overheating.

I just happened to have this page open while I was working on my Nvidia desktop machine. Here's the link to Nvidia's download page:

Hope reinstalling the drivers helps. I'd hate to think that your card is dying.

i hav the same problem my screen does that but it also goes other colours lyk blue or brown also it freezes and causes my system to crash this happens every 3 or 4 times i load a new place. but here is the catch i play americas army a game that runs on much better graphics than guildwars (gw is still awesome tho) yet it never messes up even if i put it on just after guildwars has messed up. i tried downloading and installing the game agen but to no avail
